Transportation
IIT Kharagpur enjoys good rail and air connectivity. Kharagpur and Hijli are the closest railway stations. Taxi, toto and rickshaw services are available and the campus can generally be reached in about 15 minutes.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU), Kolkata, is approximately 140 km away. The road journey generally takes around 2.5–3 hours depending on traffic.
